We are pleased to invite you to the staging of “ Mere Gaon Ka Gandhi Zinda Hai ” by Literacy India.

This is a story of a thief and a ghost. The thief is trying to turn around his luck by stealing new objects which are unparalleled & interesting. He is bored of stealing materialistic things which no more fascinate him. According to him, the materialistic things are stolen by all thieves. He is now looking for stealing the Kismat (fate) of a person who possesses all the materialistic things as well as has delved into the spiritual world. He feels that if he can steal the Kismat or fate, he will lead a much better life as he will have both spiritual and materialistic world.

The play has been directed by Shri. Nikhil Raj (Bhojpuri Actor), who is a television anchor and a celebrity. He has been actively associated with Literacy India for last 15 years.

We will also be grateful if you can help us in mobilizing some audience from your relatives, friends and employees. The passes/tickets can be booked online for a very nominal donation of Rs. 500/- Rs. 250/- as per the preference of the seats. A donation receipt will be provided for the contribution received.

Literacy India, Project Shiksharth – is a very popular among the school children. The project provides a platform for them to show their talent for performing and non-performing art. Theatre as part of education is a very effective tool to surface the hidden talent of the children, and Literacy India had been successful in using this tool for shaping the future of these young ones, many of them have made to the world of films.
