Educational inequality refers to the unequal dispersal of academic resources. Presently, the quality of education one receives is dependant on the amount of money they are paying for the service. This puts economically weak people at a position of disadvantage. They are denied quality education. In India, private schools generally provide significantly better education with respect to the faculty, infrastructure and facilities in schools that government schools. Government schools and schools in rural areas rarely provide the required standards of education. It is imperative to improve the quality of public educational institutions in India to provide satisfactory education to all.
